Tielemanns in there with about 15 family members.
Seemed very happy. One of group asked if I wanted a selfie photo with him but I didn't want to intrude.
There was a Belgian guy in there at separate table who came from Leuven - King Power other team. He comes over to watch Leicester regularly.

Perhaps they'd all brought one offer each for him to consider...[;)]

Are you sure it wasn't him that wanted a selfie with you?

Have San Carlo get their act together again now?/ Haven't been since the successive incidents of zero rated food hygiene and the menu style change....is it safe to return?

I understand the Zero health inspection rating related to wrong storing different meats together.
All sorted immediately.
The experimental cicchetti menu was rubbish and was abandoned within a few months.
Back now to the traditional menu except no more Saltimbocca. Which may be as a result of the dodgy food storage inspection rating.

My misses was in there the other Saturday evening with a few mates - everything very nice except some dodgy looking geezer with specs sat in the corner[;)]

This reminds me of the time I had the pivotal role of Dame Joan Plowright's stunt double in the 1999 movie Tea with Mussolini.
The fight scene with the Fascists in the Gran Caffe Doney in Florence has rightly been acclaimed as a classic of its kind and one of my finest cinematic triumphs!
Accidentally hit full in my face by a silver salver of freshly baked Cannoli, thrown by Cher, as the Blackshirts throw me out the window.
Dame Judi Dench and Dame Maggie Smith,of course, insisted on acting their own fight scenes as you would expect. Their injuries were only slight and the film was still completed on time and only a little over budget!
