And Vardy once again looks to win the award for worst player on the pitch. Hard fought too as Gray and Chilwell were well up for it.

A ‘through ball’ he provided 20 odd mins from the end was something I’d expect to see from Blaby Under 10s.

'Gray and Chilwell were well up for it'.

Did you bump into them before the game, or after?

True Crafty.

When you’ve got a striker capable of smashing in goals against the goliaths of world football like Huddersfield, Fulham, Burnley and Brighton then why ask for more hey.

Er this is a striker who has scored more goals vs the top 6 in the last 4 seasons than anyone else. Yes the Goliaths of the PL.

To be fair his touch was poor and he missed a right good chance

I knew as I left last night we'd be hearing from YLR. Don't you just love it.

Vardy wasn't at it last night. Some poor touches and the one big chance he put over. But for most of the game he was hemmed in. As Rodgers said after the game the ball wasn't moved forward quickly enough and because of that little space for any of the forwards to operate in.

He missed a header similar to the one the perez scored from a great cross by Barnes early on and he missed the best chance of the game from a great ball from Tielemans. He also put a ‘through ball’ to their right back rather than the penalty spot where I think Barnes was. These are all the supply lines and basics of football you’d expect from an ‘in form’ Vardy.

Aside that yes he had the defence sat on him but as has been highlighted in the past he doesn’t make the runs to make the space for others. It’s part of the reason Maddison and Tielemans appeared less effective.

It was obvious from 10 minutes in that Vardy would struggle against that setup.

He gave Nacho more game time than he’s had in 20-25 odd games. He was clutching for something different. Maybe just trying to keep crafty happy.

Vardy didn’t have space because we didn’t use the right wing enough and we didn’t mix it up with a few long balls for him to chase and worry the centre halves

[:D] long balls to where? They played with 5 at the back sat on the edge of their box? A long ball would’ve provided nothing more than a goal kick. Genius.

Ha ! .... YLR, the way to keep me happy is by getting this fraud of a "Footballer" that we have out of the door .... ASAP

He's instantly forgettable .... just ask his National team coach ..... he told you how it was about him .... or, is he also wrong ? ....
