But its increasingly obvious that the future of LCFC perished in that helicopter.
Vichai made all the key decisions not least when to sack a manager when he became a wrong'un.
Right now we are rudderless with no one capable of pulling the trigger.
No one looks able to pull us out of this nose dive back into the Championship.
And all we can do is watch with increasing horror from the sidelines.
Not seen anything like this since the Taylor days. A decent team being systematically dismembered brick by brick by a manager so arrogant that it appears he is doing it deliberately.
I truly believe Le Knobhead has embarked on a mission to cripple us long term as punishment because we haven't taken to him.
And just like John Elsom there is no one on the Board capable or willing to do anything whatsoever about it.
And all I for one can do about this gut-wrenching fear and hopelessness is bet on the seemingly inevitable - almost as an act of impotent revenge.

vichai only pulled the trigger when we were in danger of entering the relegation places. i am certain that strategy remains.

Thats funny because Vichai sacked Le Knobhead after the West Ham game just before he got on the helicopter.

Yes - our future looks terrible with the new training ground and stadium expansion.

Can't believe the word "rudderless" and a phrase like "nose dive" have been used in this post? Unbelievable...

The players who will leave us in the next year or two, were always destined to leave us in that time-frame. They are getting too old.

It is beyond comprehension that you really believe that the board aren't directing things at the club. We have just signed a player who looked excellent at the weekend.

I'm not a fan of Puel. But there will be no hesitation to get rid when the time necessitates. By the end of the season, if we don't have a healthy league position - the time will have arrived.

Soho, bless him, has rattled a few cages down the years, but he is spot on with his assessment of the Football Whisperer that is Le Knobhead. We are going nowhere under CP, a rudderless ship drifting into the abyss.

So your point is that Soho is "spot on".

Because you believe Puel "has embarked on a mission to cripple us long term as punishment because we haven't taken to him."

You honestly believe that?

I agree with Soho on most points
Tielemans using us as a shop window, well get him ready for life in the prem, he will be with one of the top clubs next year Man C need a replacement for Silva, all the youth we are bringing through given half a chance will be gone.
Winning things means a lot to players and to hear Clueless saying we cant compete, it's not my concern ect.
Also look at Pep & Clop when players get subbed they all get a pat on the back well done all that XXXXXX, most of the Puel ignores them, and when he makes straight for Pogba at full time says it all.

I will give you that one Sixth Swan as it was Soho 'Banter in overdrive'. Apart from that one sentence I agree 100% with Soho. I will always support the Club, but totally out of tune wit the Manager.

Does 'no option to buy' mean we're not allowed to buy him on the open market?

According to reports, we offered around £20m for Tielemans, but his club wanted £25m. So our current loan contract with Monaco excludes an option to buy.

If he went open market, then that would change as our loan contract will no longer apply.

Monaco are basically putting him in the shop window.

People are making too much of an issue out of this option to buy.

If we had the option, he plays really well for us, and a bigger team came in the player would have just rejected the move.

Plus there is silva on the same agreement there whose value is also hopefully increasing.

Could it be that we are not allowed to buy or sell as the rumour goes, why we didn't buy him but arranged a loan. I think we will be getting him when the said, if its true, financial situation changes.

Also l agree with Soho.

As far as I'm aware the 'option to buy' thing is relatively new. Obviously the lack of an option to buy does not mean that you can't buy the player on the open market - it just means you don't get first dibs.

This 'option to buy' talk is nonsense.
it just means we don't get first dibs.
if we want him in the summer, and offer enough money he'll come here.

It's just possible that he sees us as a better option than a top 6 side where he is unlikely to get first team football regularly.

He is already a shoe in in our first 11.

Although Mendy and not Ndidi is the one I would personally replace

if he impresses enough that we want him, then we've got three months to really sell the club to him. the vision etc. we should be impressing him so much that he is telling his agent that he wants to come here or nowhere.

if he ends up somewhere else after that then we've only ourselves to blame.

Yeap .... Seen it all before under Taylor, but this guy now has an even worse record than him .... Nobody wanted him here, only the owners, and all the noises coming out of Southampton on his appointment with us are ringing true ....

You reap what you sow ......

P.S ..... What has happened to all the Champions League-Mahrez and Drinkwater transfer money pot ? .... surely that hasn't been included in the King Power funds ? ....

I don't like talking about this because it revolves around the post West Ham tragedy.

I believe Strings was talking in the after match RL Programme about CP and he said that when the half time whistle blew, a fan was gesturing with a cut throat motion to Vichai regarding CP.
The Chairman nodded his agreement.
