I know its been a terrible time for the family and club but we need to move on . all I hear is puel and his negative views and lack of ambition for this club. he has brought nothing to the club the youngsters we are seeing were already hear the ones he has brought in are being shipped out faster and at a loss .he seems to think we are deluded to think we can go on again and win the premiership again well I for one understand that is not going to happen ,but I do think we should be capable of winning a domestic cup along the way or at least attempt to try and compete and not roll over and not give it our best. he also says we cant compete with the likes of Wolves and west ham well if that's what you think Mr puel I really think its time you collected your bags and fk off to a club who can match your lack of ambition. But as I said Id like to know are these the wishes of Top and Susan Whelan ! who I have the most respect or are we just floating along to oblivion or do they still have the same ambitions since the terrible loss we all incurred r did that go with Vichai! so I believe its time for the chairman or CEO to come out and let us know what they have planned for the club.

I agree Weller. Even if they say nothing will change for the rest of the season, it will focus the fans on the job in hand to the end of the season.

The trouble is if the lack of ambition will make our better players to seek ambitious clubs that can fulfil their own ambitions

Le Git has tried a few young players but his system is crap we enjoyed beating Chelsea and Man City but Cardiff and Newport was a wake up .
It's obvious the only natural goal scorer we have is Vardy and he's not very happy with the system so why does Le Git not play to our strengths to suit Vardy ?

Yeah he seems to think that our owners investment is not enough to beat Newport.

League before cups now we have a loan hanging over our heads..

That team should have more than capable of beating Newport.
Puel to blame for Shinji, Maddison and Nacho failing to score?
Vardy almost certainly. Ring saved for league games, if gets injured we're in trouble.

Agree with you Weller - the comments from Puel that we can't compete financially with Everton, and particularly Wolves and West Ham, are deflating. And I cannot believe that what Puel says in the interview does not reflect the current views of the club hierarchy, at least for this season. That makes it a very hard message for the supporters to get behind.

I would just cut Top some slack, given that he lost his father only two months ago, and probably has a lot on his plate right now outside LCFC. It is though hard to see how the planned investment in the training complex, and the ground enlargement, sits alongside saying we can't compete financially with our peers in the group of clubs immediately outside the Big Six.

Floating along to oblivion [:D][:D][:D]

JFC... we are 7th in the top division and have plans to expand the stadium and build a state of the art training ground. There are clubs in the division and below who’d love to be floating where we are.

Why should they?

We've been in worse positions than this with previous managers under their ownership, & in the main, they've dealt with things internally & with a bit of class, rather than airing the laundry out in public.

Bang on Weller, did this idiot really say that about Everton, Wolves and West Ham ? Anyone got a link.

lf thats what he meant he should not even be allowed in the ground again because every one of the 30,000 believe otherwise and we are being conned. That is one of the worst things i've ever heard from a manager if that what he said.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't Claudio show a similar lack of ambition in his first season? All he wanted was to get to 40 points, a target that was in our minds too at the time. If he had come out and told us he wanted to finish in the top six we would have said he was deluded and asking far too much. Years ago when we got promoted under Jock Wallace he declared that his side would scare the life out of the (then) First Division and win the title. As we all know we got relegated and that was virtually the end of Jock.

Puel is - as usual - being misinterpreted by those who feel they can gain by deliberately misunderstanding. Getting into the top half is one thing, but breaking into the top six is another. Unless you spend billions you can't expect instant results. It takes time to build a successful team at a club like ours and I believe this is why he is trying to play down the exaggerated expectations. Nigel Pearson was never a fans' favourite either, and he too took us through inconsistent times before he got us promoted. We saw that patience had been rewarded when Claudio took over.

References to Wolves and West Ham remind us that there are other clubs with the clout to harbour realistic hopes of getting into the top six too. Also Everton. We shouldn't believe there is a divine right to supremacy, but it makes it all the sweeter if we do get there.

I for one think Puel has done a good job this season, even if results don't go so well over the next few weeks. This in spite of continuous moaning and heckling from so many spoilt ones who will forever demand the earth since we won the title. Just be careful of what you wish for. Changing managers will bring instability and yet another new blueprint, which could quite easily be ultimately unsuccessful. Yet no doubt if we drop like a stone you will all be saying that if we were still under Puel we would be going down even faster! What sort of logic is that?

Some of you - most of you - just need a reality check. I've no doubt your hearts are in the right place, but maybe you should try giving it some serious thought of your own sometime instead of acting like lemmings. I've tried to see both sides of the argument myself and my advice would be for others to do the same. After all, we all support the same team and presumably we all want to go in the same direction at the end of the day, including Puel. It's how we get there that differs.

Currently nobody is arguing about the lge position, but the football is extremely frustrating to watch under Puel. The lack of confidence that Puels football gives the fans, ultimately reflects the fans mood, which in turn filters back to the players on the pitch. The players performances are bit by bit dipping, gradually the hope and momentum is fading. Something needs to happen before it develops into a full blown crisis.
