They knew exactly what they were doing and we fell for it. Same with slim army and Silva. £75M!! Pep is all about improving every player he gets. He knew Nacho couldn’t be improved whether it was because of lack of ability and/or effort. The one on one was a classic case of where he should have gone left around the keeper and slotted it in. He looks totally short on confidence which doesn’t help | |

On the OS commentary Tags made the point several times that Ian was not deciding where to be quickly enough because he reacts to play instead of anticipating it. So, presumably, not bright enough for top level football.. ![]() | |

No football intelligence plus a poor work ethic means he just isn’t going to deliver for us. For me I think we need someone like Callum Wilson - good movement and energy and a hunger to score goals. | |
