They knew exactly what they were doing and we fell for it. Same with slim army and Silva. £75M!!
Pep is all about improving every player he gets. He knew Nacho couldnít be improved whether it was because of lack of ability and/or effort. The one on one was a classic case of where he should have gone left around the keeper and slotted it in. He looks totally short on confidence which doesnít help

On the OS commentary Tags made the point several times that Ian was not deciding where to be quickly enough because he reacts to play instead of anticipating it.
So, presumably, not bright enough for top level football..[sad]

He never did anything at all at Man City .... The rest of the team must be well and truly fed up of carrying him ...

He plods around like a broody goose. His first touch when clean through was rubbish and made it easier for their keeper.

The fact that a young striker does not look up to it (and cost a fortune) is not so scary as a club aspiring to bigger things has no alternative striker...

No football intelligence plus a poor work ethic means he just isnít going to deliver for us.

For me I think we need someone like Callum Wilson - good movement and energy and a hunger to score goals.
