Whos to blame? Players, manager or board

What a state Hibernian Football Club are in.

Unable to beat a team from the third tier of Scottish football at home in a cup tie.

So who do we blame?

Well the players have failed spectacularly over the last 12 months or thereabouts. The lack of fight, passion and ambition as a collective group is as uncomprehendable as it is frustrating. Here is a squad who (mostly) were nearing the top of the league merely a year ago but have since lost all belief in their ability.

The boardroom must also share in the responsibility.

In the past 6/7 years they've sold off every asset the club has whilst expecting managers to harvest future sellable assets from a youth system which has peaked or somehow picking up free transfers from other clubs.

Hibs need money spent on them. Now. Not tomorrow or the day after. Spend it now.

Show some ambition and go for the likes of Griffiths from Dundee. Crosas from Celtic. Bryson at Kilmarnock.

We need a lift badly.

Is Calderwood the man to take us forward? He cut a forlorn figure today. Let's see if he can get in the players to take the club forward in the next week or so. He can't be exempt from criticism as Hibernian should be knocking over Ayr United every day of the week.

Sad, bad times at Easter Road.

This sounds exactly like our predicament. (Boro fan here). Assets like : Wheater,Downing, Johnson all gone. Really struggling here. Poor Tony Mowbray has his work cut out .
