Fabio Capello was at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground to cast his eye over two of the England under 21 squad that have been picked in the full squad for England’s next two friendlies.

The England boss watched the youngsters cruise to an easy 2-0 victory with goals coming from Tom Huddlestone and Theo Walcott.

Huddlestone opened the scoring from the penalty spot, then Walcott doubled the lead for Stuart Pearce's youngsters when his finish deflected in.

England boss Capello also took note about Joe Hart, Gabriel Agbonlahor and David Wheater who all played.

Pearce has backed his five players to feature under Capello when they meet up with the senior squad.

"We've got a squad of 31 in the seniors and the bottom line is you might lose a couple through injury - it's a perfect opportunity with the two matches to look at one or two of them.

"If any of these get on the pitch they will do themselves credit."
