Excellent work from Danny Rose in beating three men and supplying a ball for Daniel Sturridge to knock in at the far post enabled England to take the lead in the fifth minute. It took a massive deflection off Kieran Gibbs for Greece to equalise midway through the first half, but despite sustained pressure England held out for the draw.

All in all, a good week for England…so far.
