The league cup is such a good cup why do the Premiership teams treat it like a charity cup match? Premiership as in 90% of them.
If Im right in thinking this aswell as 90% of the premiership who is playing in this glorious cup final this year?
Lester took it seriously as after XXXXXXting the nest in numerous FA cup finals they realised the Rumbelows cup is their level.[^]

Why have Liverpool,ManUtd ,Chelsea ,arsenal all won the League Cup more than once ,where as Kov cannot even get to a Final?

Liverpool have won it 8 times more than Kov.

You dig bigger holes every time ,deluded .

Played Crewe 4 times this season lost 3 , sums up yer Club, Micky mouse , but hey you now have refound yer level , 3rd div .

At lest 10,000 turned up ,big away following was it.

Look how much media attention the league cup is recieving in the media how much attention did the paint pot recieve, well it was nothing and you say the league cup is not a major trophey, don't make me laugh when the winner qualifies for europe, and we have won it three times you know you can't even get near it.And you say 90per cent of premier teams dont take it seriously well they dont take the f.a.cup seriously these days

Media attention???? FFS Braunie, the only reason its making the papers is because some league 2 club might upset some welsh outfit in the prem. And is it free-to-air? Nooooooooo, don't be silly. BBC and ITV didn't even bother to bid for the live rights - and that was after the league package dropped by 70 million.

The paint pot IS pi**-pot, of course it is, nobody here thinks otherwise. But to try and convince yourself yet again that the league cup is something special...oh dear, braunie...I'm actually worrying about you now mate. Let me quickly phone the Arnold Lodge and tell them we've found you.

May i suggest that the championship playoff final is more important than both cups put together of which we have lost 2 and won 2 at wembley.[^]

Do you not aggree that you qualify for Europe if you win it therefore it does mean something, and don't tell me that arsenal and Villa didn't want to win it .and let me remind you at the time we won it in the eighties and the sixties it was taken seriously.

Flick, in all honesty, I would agree with you based on how much financial reward/status is on offer by getting into the prem. If you gave me the choice of winning a championship play-off and winning the FA cup, I would take the former at this moment in time. And, by that logic and preempting your next comeback, Leicester City are more successful than Coventry City in this regard.

I hope that gives you some satisfaction [^][:P]

Am waiting to see if Braunie agrees, bearing in mind that you'll never win the FA Cup; and winning a play-off doesn't qualify you for Europe [:D]

Kov will never get to more than one Cup Final , LCFC have proved they can in both Cups so yer never is only in yer head.

Deluded does not cover it, Kov a Club that cannot beat Crewe in a Final.

Thanks for that Reg,off course a FA Cup final win under your belt sounds great but not when your in the third division losing at home to crewe...
Its funny how small dickie never replies in the constructive way you or Coab seem to be able to do[^]
I do remember when you were relegated to the third division we never heard from him for 3 months, like i've said small dickie[:D]

The thing is when we won the cup it was before the Premiership was born. The prem is now a million miles from what football was. we have multi millionaires at the age of 24, 64 to see arsenal for example and Johnny foreigner rolling around the floor every five mins.
Theres very little loyalty and home grown British players aren't getting a look in.[sad] Were in a shyte division but I have to say its the most enjoyable season we have had for a long time. Any team who gets to the promised land and cuts their cloth accordingly will struggle and end up a yo yo club unless they go for broke.

Hi! Reg aggree winning the plaqy offs dosen't qualify you for Europe but winning the league does and we have done three times how many times have you qualified for Europe. How many finals have Kov actually played in.And we have never sunk so low as you in the league.

Kov are obsessed with their day trip because its all they have , the League will always be more important than any Cup.

125 years and one Wembley trip , no wonder their support is poor.
