Eastwood give us some Pleasure, Beach.

Tonight committed Sky Blue fans who refrained from writing to Coleman and making a tit of themselves will battle the Bank Holiday traffic and head north to the UK’s number one attraction. No not there its a little further north than Alton Towers……I talk of course about Blackpool.

Blackpool is a Seaside town which has a population of 142,900, which is a ratio of 1 man to every 2 Donkeys. This makes it the fourth-largest settlement in North West England behind Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington. Blackpool is located just 30 miles away from Liverpool City Centre and Coventry fans are advised to make sure that valuables are carried with them at all times as there is often a “shell suit” invasion when Hen Night and Stag Do season is in full bloom. Blackpool is also often described as the "gay capital of the North” with only the residents of Leeds stopping it from being an outright winner.

Onto Saturdays competition which takes place at Bloomfield Road. For those worried about travelling to Blackpool without a ticket I can assure you that you will not miss out. Supporters over 5ft will be able to watch the whole game from the Car Park as someone roughly 30 miles away appears to have stolen one of Blackpools stands. The club's motto is Progress, as featured on its crest, I can only assume that this stands for “Work in Progress” or “One day we hope to Progress” maybe.

Like our Legends wall, Blackpool F.C has a Hall of Fame which was established on 22 August 2006. It was based on overall number of appearances as well as performance and the overall winner and first entry into the Hall of Fame was Roy Chubby Brown. Thanks to this privilege Roy was given the “Key to the city” which not only ensured him steady work for the rest of his life by allowing him to perform to pissed air biscuit brewing Scousers but he also he gets to ride Benny the Donkey as many times as he wants.

Coventry fans will be hoping that City put in a bit more fight than last years spanking given by the men in orange. However with Blackpools impressive win against Wigan and Coventrys poor showing against Swansea, its looking to be a tough fixture and possibly a depressing Saturday evening that no number of Drag Queens and Donkey Rides could fix.I’m going to remain positive and say the result will be a 2-1 win to the Sky Blues with Freddy Eastwood scoring the winner. Its time for him to step up and be counted otherwise Coleman can leave him in the “Gay Capital of the north” to Ride “The Big One” and spend the rest of his career walking up and down the Pleasure Beach giving overweight tourists a ride on his back.

Play up Sky Blues.
