THANK THE LORD (AND JIMMY HILL) FOR ALL THINGS SKYBLUE !!

After reading the article from my mIRC room mate USSkyblue, I had to drop a line on all things skyblue whilst living away....ooo away from home..

Born in Binley a long long time ago and having a brother who was just as silly as me (a Skyblue fan) I found out early that once skyblue there is no saviour for me.  After going to games with my brother John at Highfield Rd, there can never be a place so dear to my heart.  Ive been back and been to a few games at the Ricoh and even though it gets my tick of approval, it will never match HR for that X factor.  Dont ask what it was but it had it.

Being Skyblue and living abroard is very difficult.  Everyone here in Aussie is either a Man U fan or Liverpool.  Why I dont know there couldnt possibly be that many expats from up north living here could there??

So the little info you obtain is via the net.  There was a time I purchased pay tv here only to get to see my beloved Skyblues play for one season and then R rrr cant say it...So foxtel decided to play live Championship matches...but its not the same as being at the game on Saturdays.

The internet is a marvel if your away oooohhh away from home for us, we use mIRC to chat on match days (and slap a few trouts about) meet other expats and maybe visit them on hols (Hey Malc & Maria) and then the wonder that is premium TV live broadcast.  Well nearly live....but appreciated.  Then we get replays of goals we score and have scored against us on the CCFC official site.  and thats your lot...not much but it keeps us SKYBLUE AWAY .

Oh and I cant forget.....that skyblue legend who informs all away ooohh away from home...Kev Monks....where would we be without his amazing match reports...

So for all awayyy ooohhh away from home...enjoy ...

Play up Skyblues
Thanks Gus, any more Sky Blues from afar?
It doesn't have to be as far as Gus or USSkyblue! But if you can't get to games because of distance then drop us a mail.
