Getting the points at Walford

Decisions, Decisions and erm….decisions is the order of the day as Coventry City Travel to Walford for what could turn out to be the nail In the coffin or a kick up the arse for our survival hopes. With all the teams around us playing far easier oppositions, it’s left for our own skill on the pitch to shine through and lead us to the land of Championship Football next season. The usual Guarantee of a Leicester defeat can no longer be promised as more and more teams allow them the odd point here and there out of pity…..Anyhow onto the decisions……

Coleman has a selection headache ahead of him with Best being back from suspension, that kid from West Ham knowing where the net is and with Simpson putting in some impressive performances, Coleman is struggling to decide who to play ahead of our very own Mifsud “the Maltese Jason Lee”

Still recovering from playing a hoofing Leicester team some weeks back, Coleman has stated that the squad are carrying a few knocks and bruises but our players like our fans are desperate to see smaller and less valuable clubs go down and many of our players will play through the pain barrier just to see this happen….

Obviously having never been to a city game in my life I struggle to keep up with who we are playing and where, but thanks to a 5 minute dabble on Google. I can not only inform you that if you search for “JFGI” on Google the response is ironic but I can also tell you that city will be heading south down something called the M1 to play a team that once boasted Arthur Fowler as a supporter, a front line of Shane Ritchie and that fat guy from the café and a mascot called Well’ard. Surely Coleman must be confident of coming away with at least a point.

Pictures for this preview were hard to find, however after an extensive image search and a whole box of Kleenex I found a snapshot of Walford FC’s last home win.

So with my own personal headache of whether to travel down this grey line on Google Earth called the M1 or keep her in doors happy and take advantage of the 2 for 1 deal at Toys R US. Like Coleman’s decision headache, hopefully we can both make a decision that neither will regret come 6pm on Saturday. If dropping Mifsud costs us the game and if all of the Vtech 2 for 1 have sold out by the time I get my wife to the shops, we both might be sleeping on the couch tonight…..Play Up Sky Blues!!!!
