Coventry City - QPR match preview.

The Sky Blues entertain Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday as hopes fade fast for any sort of resurgents under Chris Colemans leadership.

QPR are very much like Leicester, always been about but have always been kak and like Leicester, the only real trophy they have won is the Milk Cup or Cocoa Cola Cup or whatever it's called.

They have a more interesting name than Leicester (who we beat 2-0 the other week) I wondered why Queens Park would have rangers in the first place. Couldn't imagine herds of wilderbeast roaming the plains of west London, so I googled it and found out that their origins are quite boring so I won't bother boring you lot with it. Although I did find out that one of their owners is a very weathly guy called Flavio Briatore who thought that Queens Park Rangers was a restaurant when they were offered to him for sale so he's obviously mad as a bucket of frogs.

Even more in common with Leicester.

Ian Holloway was a player there before becoming their manager.

The links go on and on.

The Sky Blue Army can expect to see both Michael Doyle and Stephen Hughes back in the starting line up, Doyle after completing his Suspension and Hughes recovering from the concussion he suffered when the Sky Blues beat Leicester 2-0.

City manager Coleman, has asked the players for more fight to avoid the dreaded drop.

Thank God Page has left then!

Coventry will be hoping for a result like the one earlier in the season when City ran out 2-1 winners at Loftus Road but with poor form of late and City losing two out of the last three games at home to QPR it could be another night of disappointment for City fans.

QPR have lost only one of their last six setting themselves up for a late push for a playoff place and must fancy their chances against a poor Coventry side who have won only one of there last six, when they beat Leicester 2-0.

They will be without midfielder Gavin Mahon and Gareth Ainsworth looks set to be on the bench again after returning from a back injury.
