Back to the football.

Managerless Coventry City take on Cardiff City at the Ricoh, but all eyes will be on the Corporate area looking for clues as to who the next manager may be. The Sky Blues sit perilously close to the relegation zone while The Bluebirds have more than half an eye on the play off places.

The last time the two teams met was back in August at Ninian Park, a glorious hot day saw Coventry come away with all three points after taking the lead early on with Jay Tabb scoring the all important goal and defending for the rest of the game with Cardiff missing a late late penalty. Coventry were sitting top of the league and Cardiff had just signed Jimmy Floyd, who scored for Cardiff in their  1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend and Robbie Fowler who it's rumoured will never play again after a hip operation has ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

With Frankie Bunn and John Harbin taking control until a new manager can be found it will be interesting to see whether they stick to the tried, tested and failed game plan or try something different, like play football. Marshall, Birchall and Andrews are back fit and up for selection and Mifsud will also be pushing for a start with Stephen Hughes is a doubt after being substituted at the weekend.

The last five home games Coventry have faced Cardiff they have not faired great, winning two drawing two and losing one.
