No Goals At Selhurst Park.

With one eye firmly on the FA Cup quarter final Dave Jones rang some changes last night but the Bluebirds once again failed to hit the back of the net, coming away from London with a 0-0 draw.  The play-offs are now a distant dream and all thoughts turn to The Riverside on Sunday afternoon.  Cardiff  City boss  Dave Jones speaking after the match said: "They've thrown bodies in the way time and again. I gambled a little bit by bringing Trevor (Sinclair) and Riccardo ....

Cardiff City 0 V Leicester City 1

Darren Purse struck a bizarre own goal when he drilled the ball past Peter Enckelman to give Leicester City a deserved lead after 27 minutes. The visitors created more chances than The Bluebirds in the opening half hour and should have been well in front before the Cardiff skipper shot past his own keeper in a poor game dominated by the windy conditions.  The result effectively ends the Cup Quarter finalists hopes of the play offs but there is still the cup and the match at ....

The Bluebirds were two up inside the first 15 minutres and were never in danger against a very poor Wolves side.  The only disappointing part of the day was the size of the crowd which must cause concern for the Cardiff board.
