Owen Coyle’s men resume Premier League action this weekend against Manchester Untied on Sunday lunchtime, looking to get the first three points at home this season.

Bolton could give a welcome return to goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen following the completion of his three match ban. However, defender Gary Cahill serves the final game of his own suspension.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to recall most of the side that beat Liverpool last weekend after making 11 changes against Scunthorpe.

Rio Ferdinand is likely to make his first Premier League start of the season after missing the Liverpool game last weekend with illness. Owen Hargreaves is also back in training but is unlikely to feature.

Wanderers will be looking to build on an impressive display against Aston Villa last weekend which saw them take a point from the Champions League hopefuls.

United are looking to pick up there sixth consecutive victory over the Wanderers, as they make a short journey to the Reebok for this north-west derby.

Coyle has been satisfied with the start to the season from Wanderers, with only one defeat in the league so far, but will want the draws to start turning into victories as they look to avoid relegation for another season.
