Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson has admitted the club are in trouble and accused some players of not playing at their best.

The former Liecester boss has launched the suprise verbal attack ahead of a week where the Trotters play West Ham after Manchester City.

Megson told the Bolton Evening news: "We have got a few players who are not delivering what I know they can- that's why we are where we are and we have got to change all that.

"We've got exceptional players who are not playing as well as I know they can and our club deserves better than this- we're in trouble," he finished.
