Apparently you can tell someone's personality and social standing from the supermarket they go in. So which do you use and AVFTT predictions?

TAM - Booths
Yorkshire Seasiders - Lidl
LythamKev2 - Aldi middle aisle
DogFoodDave - Petsathome [rle]

Personally I'm a bit of a Sainsburys man - not too posh but at least they have brands you've heard of [:O]

Sainsbury's with a dash of Waitrose on the grocery front.

And we have our own butcher, of course.

Use most- like to drop a corker of a fart in an aisle then go to the next aisle to hear the gasps of horror as the stench hits customers nostrils.[pa]

I adopted a similar tactic on the train the other day Camberwick…Although i took the ballsy approach of standing my ground with the occasional raised eyebrow and furrowed brow to hint that i was appalled at whoever let the pungent raider into the ether...

As for supermarket; I've adopted a trident approach of Waitrose for meat basics and home brand shreddies (they seem to be the only ones selling their own these days...), M&S for the £12 meal deal (if its on offer), Sainsbury's for groceries and there's an occasional trip to the local butchers if I want something a bit more special/top grade.

I also know take my own bags and get very agitated if someone is packing bags for charity at the checkout. They just don't do it right...

Agree about the tin shaking bag packers Straighters,
In this cashless society we live in I hardly ever have change in my pocket, it just makes for an uncomfortable experience, letting some kid badly pack my bags and walking off without dropping a couple of quid in!

Alternate between Morrisons & Tesco weekly, but go in Booths most days for better stuff.[rle]
