Of course Lord Ellis will also be the most renowned but has there been many players who have directly switched between the two clubs over the years?

Not sure whether Brett or Barks sticks in the craw more but both for different reasons. Brett could have tarnished his reputation but he came back and did what he did whereas Barks is flourishing over there and under Saddler that could have been us.

Rob Edwards, Andy Lonergan and Simon Lynch came from Preston straight to us, the latter two on loan. Lonergan never actually played for us.
