If some League One Chairman vote for 12 point ban
Surely they shouldn't be allowed to vote , it's clearly a conflict of interest .

Let's face it, the whole world knows the score with Owen. Punishing the fans shouldn't sit well with the onlookers.

Punishing fans when dishing out points deductions didn’t seem to bother them in the past. Are they going to do the same to a club that has been ‘stripped’ of its cash though? Would be nice if some of them referred to a High Court judgement before making their decision..

Everyone has their own opinion but the 12 points doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Perfect scenario for me is no more oyston. As long as the 12 points happens this season then it should have little bearing on our final status.

Sadly the fact we signed players in January knowing admin was to follow means we'll get the 12 points.
There's no two ways about it.

So we get hit with a 12 point deduction.
We won't go down, may have may play offs though.
The bigger picture is we're closer to getting rid of the odious family.

There is no guarantee that Oystons will be gone at the end of the season for the playoffs regardless of Wednesday's outcome.

I don't relish the thought of another Wembley boycott.

The way we're playing a 12 points deduction might not mean relegation.
We don't deserve the penalty, but if it happens, it happens.[rle]

Realistically, chairmen of clubs in your league have the power. Now are they going to deduct and possibly improve their clubs chances of a play off spot or avoiding relegation, or are they going to worry about those poor Blackpool fans who've suffered the Oystonism so long. If its like the twåt from Scûnthorpe we already know the answer.
They've even covered their backs, it's covered in the rules so threatening legal action won't help imho.

The Management Committee!

As I understand it, it's made up of [2?]representatives from each division. Karl used to be on it but he's no longer chairman but even when he was did he not have to stand down because the team got relegated and L1 already had it's two reps. So he never got back on it.

Perhaps some-one can confirm.

I'm not sure that this will need ratifying by the member clubs as I think they did that with Dirty.

It gave the Oldham CEO his big moment in front of the Sky cameras but came back to bite them on the 'arris a few years later

Debbie Jevans CBE is the acting chair as they still haven't found the right candidate.

*update* there is a clubs' meeting scheduled for February.

The league board will apply it's rules as it is constituted to do.

They have an extremely capable and experienced in house lawyer who will no doubt advise.

The Ill informed bleating, hollow threats or even another embarrassing gathering of mutants and cretins outside the EFL offices will serve no purpose other than guaranteeing a decision that is beyond criticism.

I would take 12 points like a flash it meant getting rid of the sick. Self obsessed weirdo that purports to have the clubs best interest at heart whilst having no grip on reality.

Just get back in and support the players come what may either with or without a 12 point deduction.

Whilst not condoning the language, I sort of agree with AVFTB. We are not in any shape to be in the Championship and as long as it doesn't cost us our League One place, I'm ready to swallow a 12 point deduction and move on.
