Hartlepool hit 2600 season ticket sales

Not being following it, but guess it means that have a side capable of going back up.

10/1 for the title - same as AVFTT Fylde.

Tbf not much else to do in Hartlepool on a Saturday afternoon [;)]

There's a huge ground swell of support at the moment to do with having had some pretty poor owners (not our league, but not great).

They've got a new CEO and who is open and transparent, a new structure, new manager, coaching, backroom and team, a new badge, real interaction with their supporters through social media (including redesigning their away kit) and a real possibility of fan (shared) ownership.

I know Supporters Direct are active in the background, which I may be getting involved in through work.

I think there's an air of optimism and potential for the first time in years.

Got to deliver on the pitch mind!

tsseasider would that fan interaction be a FPG? Or is that just the Oyston way of 'winning' fans over and bluffing the governing bodies.

Good luck to the other Pool.

I fancy going to the home game at Fylde but I hope DfD has the sense to segregate the crowds[xx(][:O]

Considering Stockport County have over 5000 season ticket holders further down the non-league pyramid, it seems small fry to me.

Stockport had sold 1500 at 1 July

They've shifted over 3500 in a fortnight?[:O]

That's a lot of decent info on Hartlepool there TS [^] To find your club out of the football league must be a real kick in the gonads . At the same time , if like Hereford you find you have got rid of a nightmare owner and have started over in the manner their fans have then you can see the obvious plus points. Good luck to Hartlepool though. There are a number of clubs in that League with exceptional fans and as Tranmere found out, it can be hellish trying to get back to the EFL. My money would be on Tranmere for this season tbh

Are you sure Adams? Their aveage league gat last season was just under 3,500 (no mean effort) but some way off 5000 season ticket holders I would suggest, unless they have some sort of mega promo this summer for next season.

Chesh, an absolute fact is they had sold 1500 odd by 1 July.

So, he's suggesting 3500 inside two weeks or over 3000 more than last season.

If they have, good luck to them, but I'm sure it would have been widely reported.

Fan interaction through public and open meetings; the new CEO is using the local media to explain where they've been and some contentious decisions (letting go an experienced physio who was will liked by the fans as one example).

The biggest visible difference is that the Club and their Supporters Trust are working together - novel concept [smi]

I'm not sure how good their players are, but on terms of explaining that they nearly went bust, had to let go some of the high earners and how they would like me supporter investment, local sponsors etc they are doing well.

The new manager is well thought of in the Welsh league.

Interesting times, but it's a hell of a fight to get back.
