14.06.18 Jordan Thompson signs from Rangers

As Gary Bowyer continued his search for young players that he can develop, he made a move for 21 year old midfielder Jordan Thompson who signed a two year deal from Rangers, having initially been on the books of Manchester United. He only made 3 appearances for the Scottish side and spent much of his time on loan at Airdrie, Raith Rovers and the previous season he helped Livingston win promotion back to the SPL. He has also represented Northern Ireland as an international.

13.06.18 Chris Pritchard signs from Bolton Wanderers

A player who has been linked with Blackpool many times over the years finally joined the Seasiders as Gary Bowyer's fifth summer signing. The vastly experienced midfielder has made over 400 career appearances to date including periods at Millwall, Blackburn and Oldham Athletic. He signs on a one year deal with a further year's option. He said "Bowyer took me to Blackburn and I loved every minute under him".

13.06.18 Joe Dodoo on season long loan from Rangers

Gary Bowyer knows the importance of loan signings and he moved to bring Rangers striker Joe Dodoo to the club on a 12 month loan. The 22 year old who started out at Leicester City has found it hard to break in to the Scottish side with 27 appearances in two seasons, although 'Gers fans were disappointed at his departure. He has also been on loan at Charlton and Bury and has won an England Under 18 cap.

12.06.18 John O'Sullivan free agent from Carlisle United

The attacking midfield, 24, moved to Blackpool after spending 18 months at Carlisle United. A former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, he started his career with Blackburn and enjoyed a couple of loan spells at Accrington Stanley. Working with Bowyer and Terry McPhillips was a big draw for the player who signs on a 12 month deal with the option of a further season. O'Sullivan said 'I've worked with them in the past and they know my strengths and weaknesses'.

27.05.18 Harry Pritchard signs from Maidstone United

The 25 year old winger signed a two year deal from the National League side having been voted the Player of the season following his 16 goals in 47 games. He made 233 appearances for the Magpies and helped them win promotion the previous season. Pritchard said "I'm ready to step up and to come here and sign is a dream move'. Gary Bowyer said 'He can play with both feet and is a real threat in the air'.

22.05.18 Michael Nottingham signs from Salford City

Not a great surprise when the defender was named as Gary Bowyer\'s first summer signing as he\'d already been a transfer target for the Blackpool manager. The 29 year old agreed a two year deal with the option of a further year. The versatile right back has received a series of plaudits for not only his performances but also his goals in non-league.
