| Traveling some of the other boards i am seeing some nerves, some doubts, some worries. I think only a blind man would think we are nailed on certs. But what do you all think? As it stands now, forget new signing rumours. Let us imagine we start against the first 4 or 5 opponents with this squad plus say, Tyson. How will we fair? | |

Pass me the white cane - COYR![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'd just like to win our opening game for a change. I think it will be a tough season (aren't they all) and there will be wobbles but auto promotion is a must and very do-able. COYR ![]() ![]() ![]() | |

| It is not going to be the walk in the park some might think but with a bit of fortune on our side we can do it. | |

| DOC Whilst i agree it will not be a walk in the park as some are saying you have to remember we have, without question, Dickson the best left back in this div, Fonte the best central defender , Davis the best keeper, Lalana the best midfielder, and easily the best two strikers in this league in Lambert and Barnard. This is not being arrogant and is myopinion but you can see why fans are excited. Also I know you said forget the transfer rumours but in todays echo Pardew has said he wants 2 or 3 more players before the season starts and we had preston midfielder Darren Carter on trial last night who impressed at Barnet who Pardew wants to sign. He has also played for Birmingham and west brom so he would probably shine in this league. So all in all yes we should do very well and i would be dissapointed if we dont finish in the top 3. | |
