QPR’s season depends on the next three games according to Lee Cook.
The Rangers winger admits he and the rest of the midfield were at fault in the 3-1 home defeat to Ipswich on Saturday – but Cook is adamant the side can bounce back at Cardiff tomorrow night.
With Rs playing a lone striker in a 4-5-1 system, more is required to make sure the hitman gets a frequent service of goal-scoring opportunities.
Cook said: “A lot of rotation from the midfield is required to get the through balls into the striker. We’ve got the players to do it – but it didn’t come off against Ipswich.
“The manager said we had a really off day on Saturday – and told us to clear our heads for Cardiff.
“We’ve got to try and win the next two away games as well as at home to Norwich on Tuesday, if we want to stand a chance of the play-offs.”
