In all my years of following pompey this has to be the best.Better than promotion to the premier,or winning the FA cup.We as supporters saved our club and have now turned it into a club that people respect and admire. That to me is the best feeling in the world.[;)][;)]

I was thinking back to the promotion to prem and apart from the obvious celebrations on the pitch when we won promotion and the title, I don't remember such a closeness between players and fans. Some of the videos and pictures that have been going around of the players on team bus, players celebrating on the pitch/balcony at notts county and finally when they got back to portsmouth have been really good to watch.

It's been a great feeling every time we've been promoted or won something. It was fantastic when we got promoted from the old 4th at Northampton.

The latest one always feels like the best and, of course, to the younger fans it's the best because they didn't experience most of the others.

Here's hoping for many more 'best feelings', the sooner the better so I can experience some of them.

It's a feeling that the 'big' teams in the PL will probably never experience. (Don't really know why I said that.)

I was at fratton park on monday when the players returned back.300 fans were waiting for them. There was none of this put our headphones on.The players were pleased to see the fans and joined in.The crew match was our watershed the players took a lot of stick but a bond has now grown between the players and the fans. they know they are involved in something special.[;)]

I think Cook has played a master stroke, maybe with the help of some members of the Board and Trust who suggested the coming together of both fans and players like it did.

By arranging this and allowing everyone to mix, we all know Cook likes a drink and a sing song but he is also a fan himself. This act Monday evening will be all the motivation needed from both sides to bring the very best oput of each other.

I do think it was a master stroke and so very very Pompey.

If Eisner takes over and invests millions I hope that his money is used for infrastructure and not playing budgets, and that we climb back up the league the hard and honest way.

For me, it's my best feeling as a fan. Closest thing was beating Notts Forest in the FA Cup quarter final when I was a kid. Premier League and winning the cup were bigger achievements, but nothing beat this feeing.

We were overwhelming favourites to win on FA Cup final. At the time I had a sense of anti climax although the parade through Pompey the following day brought home the achievement. Beating Spurs in the semi two years later felt far better.
