Aruna Dindane's return to form and fitness have earned him a recall to the Ivory Coast squad for their match with Guinea next weekend.

Dindane bagged a hat-trick in Pompey's 4-0 win over Wigan last weekend.

The striker is in ther 23-man squad for the game and it is the first time he has been selected by Ivory Coast manager Vahid Halilhodzic.

Dindane hasn't played for the Ivory Coast since 2008, when Halilhodzic took over, as he suffered a serious knee injury in May of that year, which kept hiom out of action for eight months.

Halilhodzic was linked with the Pompey manager's job in the summer, but he elected to stay with the Elephants, guiding them to World Cup qualification. Article continues here
