Stains visit

Saints fans are starting to realise how difficult it’s going to be to get to Fratton Park for the game in December. It appears its going to be a ‘bubble’ match, that means they MUST travel by coach; in fact their match tickets will only be handed out on the coach. When you’ve finished laughing - think on! If it happens to them, it will almost certainly happen to us! If it happens when we play them will it be introduced for other games - Millwall perhaps or Cardiff?
If you can get to Portsmouth tomorrow (Thursday) evening the FSF Watching Football Is Not A Crime event (http://www.fsf.org.uk/news) at the Rifle Club, Goldsmith Ave. is an ideal opportunity to come along and ask questions. The panel includes Supt. Rick Burrows who runs the policing of St Marys and Fratton Park and Alan Kerslake, the Chair of the south west region of the Football Safety Officers Association who happens to be SO at Cardiff City who have experienced 34 ‘bubble’ games. The evening is being hosted by Alan McLoughlin of Pompey fame and Saints fame.
