Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates has told the Gloucestershire Echo that he is keen to offer trialist Luke Summerfield a deal at Whaddon Road.

"Luke was everything I thought he'd be and the aim is to get one more (outfield player) in. Of course I will have to get people out, but if we are going to get better and evolve and take the next step, it's all part of football. I know Luke's a good player and he did okay at Newport, but I knew there was more to come and he was very good against Walsall. He had to grasp his chance and I think he did that.", he said of the former Argyle midfielder.
