Notts County were beaten comfortably by Premiership outfit Wigan Athletic last night as they exited the Carling Cup.

Henri Camara found the net twice, while Amr Zaki and Tomasz Kupisz got the other goals as the Magpies were beaten 4-0.

The homes side came close through Daniel De Ridder but Russel Hoult saved in what was an early sign of things to come.

The opening goal came in the 32nd minute when Camara fired into the bottom corner after recieving a pass from Maynor Figueroa on the edge of the area.

Zaki got the second on 60minutes as he side-footed Kevin Kilbane's low cross into the back of the net.

Wigan made it three just two minutes later when Camara headed Zaki's cross past Hoult from 10 yards.

The Latics controlled the game and the tempo but it looked like they had to settle for 3-0 until Kupisz struck in the last minute to complete the drubbing.
