Messers (Steve) Wraith, (Peter) Mann and (Andrew) Davis have been, over the past few weeks, looking at the potential behind a re-launch of not only the radio show, but also the website as a whole.
"The fanzine has lost it's legs but the website has still been genrating a number of hits which gave us food for thought," stated site Editor, Peter Mann.
"Steve Wraith and I go back a number of years and we have worked on many projects within the sporting world so it was a no-brainer that this could be brought back to life.
"We have a back catalogue of material from the old fanzine we can upload over the coming weeks and old favourites such as interviews, match previews and reports will see a welcome return."
The radio show has been a mainstay on the airwaves in recent seasons and will make a welcome return this Sunday 24 August at 1930 (same rules apply, click on the link to listen and feel free to call in for a chat).
"Steve will be taking his usual slot as radio host for the time whilst he warms Andrew to the hot seat then, when the time comes, Andrew will be the sole host and Steve will have occasional guest appearances," continued Peter.
"It's all exciting and something we are looking forward to on a large scale. Not only that but we are also looking at getting the message board generating more and more as well as solo outputs on social networking so all things Toon related are in the one place."
In addition, Toon Talk would welcome writers, old and new, to submit articles on a regular basis in order to keep the site ticking over and moving forward. Email the ditor, Peter Mann via firstname.lastname@example.org with subject header "Toon Talk Contributor" and register your interest.
