Coluka I get your argument but as a boro fan I want to see every boro game so for the other away games you don't get to wouldn't you want to see them

Yes, although I am a ST holder and go to lots of away games we live in Cheshire so the option of watching away matches or midweek home games which are a struggle to get to with a young son would be great.

Yes... I live 3000 miles away so makes it a bit difficult getting to games

I would miss around 14 games, some of which would be on telly so say I miss 11. That means around £10 per viewing maybe more as the more successful we are we are more likely to be on sky.

If they offered a pay per view option at say £5 per game in addition to the £110 season ticket then I might go ppv. They would make more money that way too

This is the point I'm trying to make as a club we're missing a trick here ,every game will be out there illegally streamed regardless what we Do ,this is a way the club can fight back against illegal streams by giving boro fans the choice to pay them directly I feel most boro fans would if not all , I still think the club will offer it as a pay per view basis as Leeds are doing at 5 pound a game

I think the club are taking a watching brief (no pun intended) seeing how well it works or doesnt at other clubs. Additionally I thought the service was only available to overseas fans?

I try to get to most away games and find the radio quite sufficient for those I miss.

Be handy for some away games I suppose.

Or if you live out of the area.

Won't be long before you can put one of these VR head sets on and it'll be like being there. And you'll be able to pick your seat.

Seen a demo on the Occulus of a athletics meeting in a stadium. Unbelievable.

It's the future.

It's it is only available to overseas fans but this is 2017 and there is ways and means to do anything why as a club would we be worried about a fan in Cornwall paying to watch boro , rather than the same person paying someone else to watch the same thing doesn't make business sense

100% yes I'm down in essex & I hate it when I miss a game. Watching on the TV will never substitute being there but being able to see it on tv is the next best thing followed by listening to commentary on the radio/internet. Never understood why clubs don't offer fans a TV season ticket I would gladly pay for one.

Yes

It would also make it a lot easier to get my young kids involved in supporting the Boro, until they're old enough to cope with going to live games

broadcast rights mean they can only stream live games outside of UK & Ireland..

..I think many in the UK would buy streams.. if available, esp away games..

You cannot run this poll without also asking do you live abroad. iFollow is only for non UK. That is really important to stress.

It is the EFL that would not allow streams within UK - they have signed the deals with SKY. There is no way they would allow Boro to make any sort of offer within the UK.
The question has to be put to overseas fans only.
It would be fascinating to know the strength of that demand overseas.

Yes but look at your replies - several people have replied that are season ticket holders etc.
Why not go back and edit your original thread title and post? If you got a large number of foreign based posters saying yes then people at the club might well be interested.

Do you think that every Middlesbrough match wasn't televised live last year and watched by thousands of boro fans around the world by either paying bein sports NBC sports ,thousands of iptv streams thousands of links on kodi this is the digital age we live in .from a clubs point of view surely this is a way to beat all the illegal sourcing of games from home and abroad as boro fans would pay the club direct yes it's for overseas but why are the club bothered about joe bloggs sitting behind a vpn watching it's a win win for the club no other way to look at it and it's as if we have people on the panels who haven't got a clue about anything regarding this subject ,some of the things being said about the production quality of streams through I follow are frankly ludicrous neulion are the company supplying the streams the biggest streaming supplier in the USA they provide the working websites of bt sport sky itv player and hundreds of live pay per view NFL matches in the states why are we worried about the product when behind a company like neulion it's a joke and says to me we have people who don't no what there talking about

Rob, I live in the States and every Boro game was shown live on NBC sports last season. We should ask NBC how many people watched the Boro last year. They should know. Again 110 pounds is cheap! It is just over 2 pounds per game.

Jumping lizards set up this survey for oversea Boro fans interested in a streaming service of our games, which can be sent to the club to show how many of us there are.

It will take less than 60 seconds.

I would pay to watch boro home and away in this day and age and if's there is a market why not , it hardly effected attendances last year, half the time you couldn't even get an away ticket !.. and if MFC sold the subs it would be good to know the money was going back into the club and not some dodgy illegal streamers pocket
