Graeme Souness signs for the Boro, Stan Anderson's final signing as Boro manager, his previous was Alan Foggon for 10,000

Link: Another quality signing by Stan

Here's a little Fats-fact for you ........

The November 4th game referred to in the article was my very first Boro match.

3-3 vs Burnley.

We conceded 2 goals in injury time, whilst the Holgate End echoed to the cry of "Attack, attack, attack!"

(Some of the above is actually a lie!)

How wierd that was my first game too, I was in the North Stand and everyone was banging there feet on the wooden floors shouting 'Easy Easy'

Only to have the word rammed down there throats, I loved it the site of the pitch the excitement of being in the crowd [^]

Yep, so glad he decided to stay & to this day enjoys a fantatsic relationship with all ages of Boro fans.

When my kids were growing up I would always tell em about John Hickton, when my son turned 18 I booked us both in to the legends against Charlton, Slaven was sat behind us & told me big John was in the building, I asked him iof he would take me & my son to meet him, which he did after the game & I got a photo of me, my son & big John together, Boro also won the game 3-1, great day [^]

Cant remember Coluka, but I know he scored his one & only Newcasle goal against us, at their place, we drew 1-1 Darren Wood equalised for us, Mogga & Paul Ward made their debut's, Moggas's job was a simple one, mark Kevin Keegan
