Boro will field a strong side against Grimsby Town in their totesport, com reserve league match at the Riverside tonight (7.00pm).

Chris Riggott continues his comeback, hoping to play another 90 minutes that would take him closer to the first-team squad, while there are places for Tony McMahon, Andrew Taylor, Didier Digard, Marvin Emnes and Jonathan Grounds.

Martin Scott’s side are bidding for their fifth successive win.

BORO SQUAD: Steele, Smith, Bennett, Corker, Digard, Emnes, Franks, Grounds, McMahon, Martin, Pilatos, Porritt, Riggott, Smallwood, Taylor, Williams.
Entry is free to Season Card holders and members of Boro Pride and Boro Junior Lions, and £2 to all others. There are limited car parking spaces available at £1 per vehicle.
Seating in the West Lower South will be used and all refreshments will be served from the concourse concessions in that area. Turnstiles open at 6pm.

Emnes - a bit of an enigma. Fast as fk but can't score. Like Aliadiere

How many teams have two of those?

The Report seems to suggest that, yes

EDIT: Oh I see. Yep, Emnes can score against rubbish. I was talking about real games

Where does pilatos play I thought he was a full back but I'm guessing he was in centre mid if mcmahon and emnes were on the right?

Emnes is a better option than Bent upfront and arca on the right.

Is that the Emnes that rips poor Championship defences apart, keeping them on the back foot so we control and win games? I'd have him as No 1 of a match winning team rather than the losers (including the manager) we've got at the moment

I'd play Emnes on the right side of a front three, 4-5-1 formation.

.......................Jones

Williams...St Ledger...Pogatetz...Bennett

........Osbourne..........Digard

Emnes.............O'Neil.............Johnson

......................Kitson

Is that Pilatos any good?

I have a mate in Liverpool who said Craig Hignett was on the radio there before and said that we have a really outstanding player on the books that they think is going to become and international or something along those lines. He said that they don't want to big him up though and put pressure on him so he wouldn't say who he was.

I always assumed it was that Pilatos for some reason.

How many times have you seen Franks play to make that decision. Or is it just that his marks in Championship Manager are poor.
