Wagstaff looks quality. Scored quite a few goals for Bristol City. Quigley on the other hand hasn't played in the league at all, so bit of a gamble, although he is only on loan.

Martin and Wagstaff are really decent signings for us. Both have a wealth of Championship experience which will prove useful over there tenure with us.

It looks like JED is happy with the strikers we already have Quigley is there to act as a target man if needed. He has signed better midfielders to improve the supply to Cody Norris and Donnelly as it was not there in the second half of last season.

Hopefully Norris and Donnelly will have both improved over the Summer. We need Cody to avoid injuries and hit the ground running. Quigley is an unknown quantity at present. I wouldn't mind one more striker, someone pacy who can get in behind.

If Norris and Donnelly have improved over the summer, then I'll eat my proverbial hat. It will be down to Cody and Quigley to score goals and if Quigley isn't up to it, then we will struggle.I really really hope that JED can bring in someone that is a proven goal score, but I suspect that the money isn't there unless we flog Dack

Even a proven striker needs service Last season our midfield wasn't up to it. Hopefully the new signings will provide that service to the strikers, then we should see different results from the front line.

They got 18 goals between them last year, not a bad return for young forwards.

Donnelly has 39 league starts in his career. Norris 62. I would not expect them to be the finished product yet.

That's a poor return seeing as we were in the top 3 or 4 nearly all season. We made loads of chances but because Norris is so slow thinking I've lost count of the goals he missed that a decent striker would have put away.It would help if he could head the ball in the direction of the goal instead of letting it hit his head and bounce harmlessly away and that's when he manages to get off the ground in front of his marker. In my opinion in case you hadn't realised,is that at best he's a lower league 2 striker although I admit he is a good striker of a dead ball. As for Donnelly, I've no idea why he was considered such a prospect by Liverpool and Swansea. I really hope some club will take them on loan, but I doubt any will. Next summer when they are both out of contract they will be at best in the conference
