Seasonal work for 16 year old
My 16yo daughter attended an assessment evening at the Tower last night, which invloved two interviews and a group exercise. There were about thirty to start and they kicked half of them out midway through. She finds out in the next three days. I believe they are still advertising.

Holland and Barratt in Cleveleys looking for someone 16 hours a week if he fancies retail. Good luck to your lad. [^]
Make sure he prepares a cv despite maybe not having worked he will be asked for one. Get any work experience on there or expand on anything different he has been involved in.

Try HB leisure they run all the stalls on the pleasure beach, my son started there at 16, he now runs the outfit at Thorpe park and gets to go to Dubai every year in the winter to run stuff over there

I can't believe that nobody has picked up on this! When I was a lad I worked at Naventi's Ice Cream vans and then the Tower. How times have changed. The world has gone mad! Why does a 16 year old girl have to endure two interviews and partake in a group exercise for a seasonal job? It's just mental nowadays.

Try hagop, stanley park, beach house, ice cream selling on a bike. You may have left it late for seasonal stuff. Have a walk round houndshill and town, there are usually a few signs up. Hotel work, kp or waiter.

Washed pots in the Cliftonville when 13-15, pushed trolleys at Fine Fare when 16 then became a life guard and beach patrol when 17-18.
Just went around and asked until someone said yes.
The water jobs came through blackpool swimming club.

Coral Island. Just go there and don't take no for an answer, because I *guarantee* one of the departments will be hiring and they'd happily hire somebody they can pay less. Sometimes the arcade might say they've nothing going, but 9/10 the bar and grill or the pub or somebody will hire still

Get son/daughter to go in and ask at all the big hotels. Loads of seasonal work around and more likely to get a job if they show in person rather than relying on mummy and daddy doing it for them [:D]

Brings back some memories.

My first summer job, aged 15 at the Foxhall cafe, saved up all summer and bought my first colour portable TV.
