The OO gauge heading for the Os is nothing to compare with the Gargantuan real life one heading for our Latvian money launderer in the form of several governments.

5.2 billion us dollars is a staggering amount and is certain to land the culprit in more than hot water.

I wouldn't worry too much about ifs and buts, I would be concentrating on plan B if there is one.

All your eggs in one basket and crowing ahead of the outcome is never a good idea.

The real point is that irrespective of anything VB may or may not have done, the past few years have categorically proven that the Oyston family have no place at Blackpool Football Club, because they will milk the club for all they can and give nothing back. Anything other than seeing them removed from the club lock, stock and barrel is of total irrelevance to me as a Blackpool supporter.

I find it amusing that the Stains and their acolytes think it clever to make all these serious allegations against VB. Surely, they realise that this is likely to make him even more determined to vindicate himself... by absolutely crucifying them in court?

And it's hardly relevant to defending their own alleged bad prejudicial behaviour, so no judge is likely to permit it as a defence. We have already heard one judge's reaction to the attempt of the Stains' lawyer to introduce such wild claims into a court.

Carry on, Stains. You may each have to individually justify your slights in a series of personal defamation cases later on. Possibly after you have lost the next big case? Could this turn into a "never-ending nightmare revenge mission" by the Latvians to remove you, and which may see your fortunes ratchet down inexorably? Their tanks are already parked on your lawn. Whatcha gonna do about it? Ha ha ha.

As others have said, and as I've posted before, I'm making no assumptions about VB's intentions. So I can't put any reliance on them.
But I do hope that June's court case results in the Os feeling the very sharp end of the legal 5h1tty stick. After what they've dealt out to others, they deserve nothing less.

Oh, don't forget that the words of an Oyston acolyte are purely designed for the benefit of the Oystons.
Even if only to give an uplift to their dismal private sense of self-worth.

Based upon what I have read on the Paris judgement I understood that at the outset of its reasoning the Court of Appeal highlighted that its duty was not to establish whether VB's bank was guilty of money laundering.
In addition I read that similar representations had been made to the Ontario Appeal court and declared irrelevant
The Manchester courts also seemed to be singularly unimpressed in dismissing Segesta / BFC Properties application to stay HHJ Moulder's findings based upon arguments similar to those put forward in Paris as disingenuous
The decisions in Ontario and Paris seem to me to simply illustrate the differences between the approaches to the review of tribunal awards by national courts of different jurisdictions for enforcement purposes whilst in the English courts the position seems to be that unless you can show a direct link between the subject matter of your claim and the assertions raised that one party is guilty of money laundering they aren't interested
Would be interesting to know if the money laundering allegations have been raised as part of the application for permission to appeal HHJ Moulders decision and what the Court of Appeal here think of that and also whether the defence in the main action has been amended to plead the allegations and if so what the Trial Judge makes of that in June
Interesting times

If you're confident in your own legal team of taking on the might of Clifford Chance then let the course of events take their own path. I suggest you're not really confident at all and you know that the outcome is going to be extremely costly to your family, but hey... come on here and try and score a few cheap points before reality hits home.

If you haven't anything sensible to say about how you plan to put right the mess you have created of our football club I would suggest you just keep a low profile or you're going to look even more stupid in the long run.
