Play Off fatigue

Regardless of where we are and if we get to the Play Off final, if these were normal circumstances, how enthusiastic would you be about a Play Off final? Just seems to me that we've been there, done that so many times that actually I almost sensed against West Ham that a lot turned up because that's what we do.

I just wonder (and don't laugh) if we've been spoiled as Blackpool fans with 5 play off finals and and the LDV appearances in 25 years - not many teams outside the top flight will have been to that many big cup games involving their club.

I detest everything about Wembley.

Horrible place to get to, only to be mugged off at every opportunity once there.

Should have been built in the Midlands.

Play Off fatigue
I felt confident before every Play Off final (even Torquay [sad]) but there was just something that didn't sit right about the West Han game. Atmosphere wasn't as good going down, we had problems with tickets, West Ham fans were in our area which was distracting and to be honest even before the goal I just couldn't get in to the game. Know what the o/p means .. whilst I've no plans to go to Wembley, I don't think the experience is the same if regularly repeated.

And to make matters worse, both their goals came from fouls. Must say the ref at Donny is the first to earn my appreciation in twenty odd years.

By which you mean it's in the middle of nowhere, people make pilgrimages to it and are then jammed in and fleeced by local traders?

Right about Mecca.
Dump area.
Nice ground.
Should have been built in the Midlands.

Know exactly what you mean about that West Ham game. It just felt wrong all day.

Wembley Stadium, the home of English football and the national stadium, has to be in the nations capital.

End of debate.
