Find a hook to bring in the cameras. And a popular celebrity.

And families. With photogenic kids.

Without forgetting to take pictures of the opposition. With their less attractive kids. (Sorry kids). Just to remind everyone how odious they are.

The problem is it is just another day. It's a day where hundreds, if not thousands, will turn out but that is all it will be. No legacy, no change of ownership and probably not the impact of previous years because it is the third.

A big fundraising event like a football game (like Brett's testimonial) would be a far better idea than a protest which won't actually change anything.

Been a total waste of time. What makes me sad is some of our fans have been ruined. Even though some have been in the wrong not enough has been done to assist them with good advice or finacially. Yet we keep promoting help for others who are in a far better situation.

I seem to remember JD2 being far more successful than the year previously and people were doubting the resolve of the fans back then. I think this year will be equally successful as the fans know the Stains are on the way out this year.

Give over Tam,Ive not mentioned BST, it was a general remark. Protests, pitch invasions etc have all caused grief, with one lad serving time and others getting letters. You think that is worth it.

Come on Today.

I don't think anybody is saying that either of the days has been perfect.

TAM and BST are asking for all supporters to come up with suggestions that may or may not be implemented.

To be honest, I thought last year was a little poor after we got to the ground but I did not come up with anything better.

I still haven't come up with anything but I will certainly attend this year.

Are you suggesting that we should cancel JD3 and do feck all ?

Gosh Ha ha!
Tītd sniping with no constructive suggestions of his own Shocker!!

JD2 was a peak in terms of numbers because of the end of the two year deal.

IMHO This one needs to be more entertaining and imaginative, a bit like to old stoodent carnival rag weeks.

Have a bit of fun[^]

It would be good if we could attract the attendees too, no idea how though.

Bloodtangerine Posted on 19/03/2017 21:30

I ddon't not suggest cancelling it and will be there.

Unfortunately another March on top of the two previous ones doesn't achieve anything solid or tangible but it's a sign, it's pro active, it's a show of unhappiness.

The owner imho is not interested in the protests and we have to rely on outside sources to help change the situation. If Val doesn't change the game then I think it's a bit of a lost cause then tbh

It's a sign to any potential partner for VB.

BST have toyed with the idea of pledge, JD3 is a demonstration of a pledge to return.

Fair enough Today and I'm sure we all ask ourselves that at some point.

I don't think one single act or day of protest can change anything in an instant but every little thing helps in a little way.

JD3 will certainly attract publicity and despite anything Koko and his disfunctional family might say, they will fecking hate it.

To be honest marches are a bit like buses these days - wait long enough and another will come along .. Brexit, Trump, one eyed Armadillos .. people will walk for any old nonsense these days. Never quite seen what they achieve.

I reckon a bit of gardening or shopping would be much more convenient for the Oystons ... sorry I mean a much more sensible use of time.

Not convinced what any of these protests actually achieve, but it has to be better than doing nothing.
What we have to do is keep raising awareness of the situation. We can't let the rest of football think that we as a fanbase have walked out simply because the club was not successful. We need people to look and say "oh, is that STILL going on at Blackpool?"
At the moment, our only real weapon is public sympathy and support.
Doing nothing achieves nothing - we'll be on the march, however little difference it might make.

JD3 - The Pledge to RETURN.

I like it and second D_K on that.

ALL those who would pledge to return when the oyston's have sold up and moved on should make every effort to be at JD3, regardless right now of opinions of what difference it might make.

And all those who are against what 'they' have done to OUR once proud club, with the chance to take it to the next level since the cash windfall, but failed spectacularly (from the average Joe footy fans POV) should IMO also make the effort to join this march for the good of the future of the game and make it ANY fan of ANY club, in ANY kit/colours and the more the merrier.

That's just the numbers issue and those will bring the passion and what will be will be n all that jazz.

Ideas will flow once positivity breaks out.

#PeoplePower #FansUnited #BeaPartofJD3

IMHO.
