The draw for the third round of the FA Cup takes place on Sunday November 29th. The draw, which sees the 20 Premier League and 24 Championship clubs enter the competition, will be made at 3.50pm and will be shown live on ITV1 after Kettering V Leeds United live second round tie. Third Round matches will be played on the weekend of January 2nd 2010. If Pool are one of the televised matches, they will get �144,000 for a live broadcast, �72,000 for a live replay broadcast and �6,750 for highlights. If Pool win their third round tie, they will receive �67,500.

Good chance 3 may go out tho, as Northampton are at home to Southampton, Luton are away to Rotherham, Rushden are away to Brighton and MK Dons are at home to Exeter, so can only see MK Dons advancing

Having predicted that we'd get Stoke (a) in the League Cup I'm on good form at this guessing malarkey.... Now then, I'll be on hols the weekend of FA Cup 3 so can guarantee, with almost certainty, we'll get a tie of mouth watering prospects.... Aside from the obvious trips to Old Trafford, Anfield, the Emirates......my instinct tells me a trip to the Reebok or Ewood is on the cards. You read it here first, and I won't be able to go

Wigan at home, for me. I quite enjoyed our last cup match against them, and their players wouldn't have much to fork out in compensation for fans match travel etc afterwards.

From a purely selfish point of view I hope its home or away against someone none descript as Im away for the third round. I guess a tie at the likes of Old Trafford or Anfield is more than overdue. Anybody except bolton for me.
