A history lesson (for those who know what "history" means).

Henry Norris was not an "aristrocrat". He was born to a working-class family, became a property developer, served in the First World War and was knighted in 1917 for "services to his country".
He was mayor and then MP for Fulham and tried to merge us with them. That would have been interesting...
When that was blocked he moved Arsenal to Highbury. In 1919 Arsenal were elected to the top flight, famously at the expense of Spurs. No problem there then. There was never any proof of bribery, but few doubt it.
In 1925 he got Herbert Chapman to the club. In 1929 he was banned from football after making dodgy approaches to a Sunderland player (wonder if they should ban people for that now?)
As a result he was not at the club when it won the title for the first time in 1931. Sadly he was dead by the time Arsenal completed back-to-back-to-back titles in 1935.
